Political dreamscape

I think it's because my Mom watches Fox news all day every day. I try to reason with her, but she is fully indoctrinated into the Republican machine. It's frustrating, but one cannot yell at one's mother (especially when said mother has bone cancer — that's the trump that wins everything).

So I've been thinking about the insanity that they spew through the propaganda network recently, and it must have

In this latest dream, everyone I run into is freaking out in ways yet unseen because on the morrow, there will be no more United States of America. They cannot explain why, only that it is the President's fault. They huddle together and speak animatedly about this horrible, awful, cataclysmic catastrophe. Even people I think of as being incredibly smart people have bought into this plague-like talk.

No one listens to me when I tell them that they are over-reacting to propaganda. At some point, I begin going into my typical schpiels about how THIS is America, how we will ALWAYS be America, that no amount of chicanery on the part of the "rich, white special interest groups" will ever change the fact that the Grand Experiment continues. Etc., etc. I think I may have been interviewed on camera at some point, and I vaguely recall applause.
